EUROPEAN UNION PROJECTS

IRVIT

A demonstration system for accurate MRI guided needle biopsy is developed in the IRVIT project. The duration of the project is 1.5 years and the demonstrator is expected to be available in June 1999. The Department of Diagnostic Radiology of the Oulu University Hospital is responsible on the clinical specification and evaluation, and intraoperative visualisation.
